It's always fun to see new life given to one of my photos, as it often brings back some great memories. The image in the ad above was originally shot while on assignment for National Geographic Adventure, exploring California's Lost Coast with writer, Dan Duane. That was an amazing week spent with Dan and friend, Jeff Daniels, exploring hidden surf breaks and dining on seafood straight from the source. The image has been relicensed through Aurora Photos and is now being used to advertise Outside TV (formerly RSN, Resort Sports Network). If you happen to be in the Tahoe area, be sure to watch the morning broadcast with one of my very best friends, Todd Offenbacher. You'll quickly see that Todd would be just as comfortable doing stand-up as he is on the air. I promise, it will be a very fun start to a day in the mountains.
