As if the forecasts for an El Niño winter weren't enough, a new crop of ads are rolling out to get you in the mood for ski season. Last winter marked the third consecutive winter I have shot for Ski Lake Tahoe. In addition to the early mornings in the backcountry, capturing world-class winter action against the background of the lake, we spent some time focused on lifestyle images. Covering 18 locations, from ice rinks to night clubs, with a cast of more than 50 people, we set out to highlight all the Tahoe Basin has to offer off the slopes. It's always fun to see some of my great friends looking out from the ads. Along with the amazing scenery and endless opportunities for adventure, it's the people that make this a truly special place.
