One thing that I have learned over the past 20+ years of my career as a photographer and business owner is that input, critique, brainstorming and coaching from others is incredibly valuable. I have always believed that having open ears and an open mind leads to interesting insights, inspiration, opportunities, creativity and business growth. I was delighted recently when two fantastic colleagues and friends, Peter Dennen and Jackie Ney, approached Jose Azel (my business partner and co-owner of Aurora Photos and Novus Select) and I about starting a new business venture and partnership that would focus on inspiring, guiding and coaching photographers. “Pedro + Jackie” will focus on making themselves available to consult on photo editing, branding, marketing and creative direction.

Over the years I have noted two glaring similarities between Peter and Jackie; they both have a deep passion for the creative world and they both love talkin’ shop! Both have unique perspectives on photography; Peter coming from the commercial and advertising world and Jackie from the fine art and editorial world. Uniting as Pedro + Jackie, they bring solid experience to the table and both share an amazing love for creativity and the business of photography.
