This year, Boy’s Life celebrates 100 years of publication. Given the ever-changing face of the publishing industry, this is quite an accomplishment, and I’m proud to have been included in the adventure.
My first of many assignments for Boy’s Life came while I was still a student at San Jose State. Since then, I have been included on some very fun trips, joining the scouts as they summited Mt. Rainier, cycled through Death Valley, hiked the Appalachian Trail and learned the essentials of safe rock climbing in Kentucky. Amongst the covers that adorn my office walls, seven of them are from Boy’s Life and I have fond memories of them all. Check out a few of them in the spread above and a few more below.
Congrats to the staff at Boy’s Life and here’s to many more great years ahead!
