When is a photo not a photo? When it becomes an illustration.
Many of my climbing photos (as well as much of my time as a member of the board of directors) is donated in support of the Access Fund, the national advocacy organization that keeps U.S. climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment. Generally, the photos are used as I shot them, but occasionally, the designers like to mix it up a bit. It's cool to see my work translated to another medium.

If you are a climber and not yet a member of the Access Fund, please click here to join. It's organizations like this that allow all outdoor enthusiasts to continue to enjoy our favorite wild places.
