NEWS: Explorers Festival – UPDATE

I'm back from a fantastic trip to Lodz, Poland. In addition to my presentation at the main venue, the organizers of the event curated a display of my images in the historic shopping district.

This trip allowed me the opportunity to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones. Much of my free time was spent with Michael Brown, Pitor Chmielinski, Hans Florine, John Harlin, Lynn Hill, Araceli Segarra, Andrew Skurka and Fiona Thornewill. We told stories, dreamed up future expeditions and sampled plenty of the local vodka.

As an added surprise, I was presented with the Explorers "Camera Extreme" award, recognizing my pictorial contribution to the world of exploration. It was quite an honor and added to an already memorable event.
