Whisky and index cards are out! I’m finally getting serious about my upcoming TEDx talk in Carson City, Nevada, this week (April 8). Something about this situation feels painfully familiar … like I’m back in college, frantically cramming for a test that I really should’ve been studying for all semester instead of just climbing in Yosemite. What can I say, some things never change!
If my talk was going to be an hour, I wouldn’t even be breaking a sweat. Instead, I broke out the whisky because I’m a little nervous about telling a bunch of stories in just 10 minutes … Cheers to my friends Rory Macleod, Ryan Leggett and Andrew Bisharat for helping me focus my ideas—next round is on me! Check out the TEDx Carson City site for event information, and wish me luck!
