As fall draws near and the days grow shorter, most people mourn the end summer. Climbers however, realize that things are about to get so good. The cooler, crisp air means perfect conditions for an afternoon spent on the rock.
It's no coincidence that the crew at Big Up Productions and Sender Films have chosen this time of the year to unleash the Reel Rock Film Tour. Now in it's sixth year, this has become THE place to see the best in climbing & adventure films and get psyched for your next trip to the crag. If the trailer is any indication, we're all in for a huge treat.
The tour kicks off tomorrow night in Boulder, CO with a guest appearance by the one and only Tommy Caldwell. Be sure to catch him after the show to say hello and get a signed copy of the poster above, featuring an image I shot last fall while Tommy was working his New Dawn Wall project on El Cap.
