This August, I will be traveling to France with Scott Willson from The North Face to lead the first edition of the Chamonix Adventure Photo School, in conjunction with the annual Chamonix Adventure Film Festival. I will share many tricks of the trade, as well as the philosophies and methodologies I have developed over the years, while Scott brings one of the industry's finest eyes for adventure imagery. Having spent eight years in the Patagonia photo department before moving on to his current seat as Photo/Video/New Media Director at The North Face, he has seen it all. After having shot many assignments for Scott, I'm excited for another opportunity to work with him, side by side in France. Join us, along with a crew of highly trained mountain guides, in one of the planet's true mountain meccas.
I truly enjoy these opportunities to teach and share with other photographers. As I watch them grow and see the excitement on their faces, it renews my passion and forces me to take a good look at what I'm doing as a visual storyteller.
