Recently, I sat down with Robert Beck, famed Sports Illustrated photographer and fellow Nikon shooter. Though his passion lies in surf photography, Robert is most well know for his images of baseball, football, golf and the Olympic games.
During our conversation, we found that, though the sports we shoot are very different from one another, there are many things about our careers that are very much the same. We quickly agreed that, no matter what you shoot, the most important task is to find a way to shoot it different than anyone else has before.
