Having worked with Bear Grylls on a number of occasions on location for Man vs. Wild, I will attest that he is the real deal (and a fun guy to hang with). If a situation calls for him to eat worms or jump from a helicopter into whitewater, then that’s exactly what he’ll do. No stunt doubles or trick photography here.
