I’m excited to introduce our new intern, JT Chevallier. JT’s arrival at the CRP South Lake Tahoe world headquarters is one of those fortuitous things that seems like it was just meant to be.
I’ve been hearing about JT for years because he has been turning heads in the Lake Tahoe creative community with his work as a freelance filmmaker. He also spent a stint at Outside Television, formerly known as RSN network. Recently he graduated from our local four-year school, Sierra Nevada College; he’s actually our first intern whose college graduation I attended.
I’ve been hearing about JT from trusted locals for years: how he’s such a great guy, such a hard worker, and has a ton of talent and expertise in the video-production world. About a dozen recommendations for JT, all unprompted, unsolicited and unbeknownst to JT himself, have passed across my desk over the year.
So when we posted our internship position on our website this spring, I was actually blown away to see JT’s application come through the door. Having heard so much about JT for years, I knew he was THE guy. We couldn’t pass him up.
JT has been here since October and he’s already proven himself to be a stud beyond what we were expecting. He’s by far the fastest editor in the office, and his beer-drinking skills are top notch. He has a bright future here at CRP world headquarters, and he’s certainly welcome to the team! Cheers, JT!
