Back from a solid month of international and domestic travel, I'm home just long enough to swap bags and head across the Atlantic. This trip will take me to the town of Lodz, Poland, home of the International Explorers Festival.
The festival, now in it's tenth year, celebrates the personalities and achievements of adventurers and explorers from around the globe. Past speakers have included Sir Edmund Hillary, Reinhold Messner and Bertrand Piccard. I'll be part of the American contingent joined by climbers Chris Sharma, Hans Florine and Lynn Hill and filmmaker Michael Brown. In addition to my lecture and slide show at the festival, a number of my adventure images will be displayed in a large format gallery exhibit.
