LATEST WORK: NEW Lowepro Rover Pro AW Series

by Corey Rich

I think it’s safe to assume that anyone reading this blog post is probably a lot like me. We share a love for capturing still photos, shooting video and embarking on adventures outdoors. Personally, I am always looking for the next product that allows me to complete these adventures at a higher level. I am delighted to have been asked to be part of the launch of the new Lowepro Rover Pro AW series backpack, which takes us all one step closer to making great content outdoors and ultimately allowing us to enjoy that experience even more.

This innovative new pack has great suspension, uses cutting edge fabrics, exemplifies practical and functional design and effectively allows me to carry both my camera and my outdoor equipment into wild places on overnight trips. This is yet another great camera bag in the lineup from Lowepro, please have a look at the video and the attached print ad to learn a bit more about the bag.

Lowepro Rover Pro Testimonial featuring Corey Rich

I spent the night before we started shooting the Rover Pro AW campaign on a plane flying home from Japan. I arrived in Tahoe, just in time to pack gear, have a beer with Josh Semoilk from Lowepro, and work through the logistics of the shoot. The next day we woke before sunrise, shot all day and by the time I put my head on my pillow I was feeling awful. When I woke on the second morning to shoot my interview and additional B-roll, I felt ten times worse; it felt like I had a 107 degree temperature and the flu but I did the best I could to muscle through it! Fortunately working with the Lowepro team and new Rover Pro 45L AW bag really took my mind off how horrible I felt.

Like any project, creating the final product was a big team effort.  Special thanks to Josh Semoilk from Lowepro for shooting the video and post-production work, photographer Trevor Clark, dear friend and fellow Lowepro team member, for shooting the still photographs, models Bethany Hinchliffe and Christopher Edmands for hiking in circles and dealing with the production all day.  To my incredible wife Marina who brought us all an incredible lunch midway through the day. Thanks everyone!
