47,058 frames later (here’s to 10.5 frames per second on the Nikon D4) we are wrapping and archiving another successful Road Runner Sports shoot. A huge thanks to everyone in the field and back in the RRS and CRP offices, who’s dedication really made the six huge shoot days possible! From the moment our team landed in Portland, rain was in the forecast and seemed to follow us throughout our entire production. Fortunately, after perpetual schedule shifts, a few lucky cloud breaks, lots of coffee and microbrew, and many location moves, we were able to pull it off. The team knocked out 80 plus shots in Portland, Hood River and on Mt. Hood. Staying true to form, there were many hilarious and unforgettable moments along the way. After a week of multiple 3am wake up calls, sleep deprivation took over and we all became a little delirious but this is what it’s all about; working hard with a great group of people and making fantastic, fun images. An extra special thanks to Velo Cult Bike Shop in Portland for hosting our wrap party! Thanks everyone and keep your eyes peeled for the final images this Fall!
