Though, we can hardly argue with where our travels take us. The North Face - Print Ad
Last winter, I spent some time with The North Face athletes DCP and Mark Carter doing something which the three of us have become all to accustomed, moving through airports. Though, we can hardly argue with where our travels take us. National Geographic Adventure - Dean Potter
The December 2009 issue of National Geographic Adventure features one of my images of Dean Potter’s world record setting wingsuit flight from the Eiger in Switzerland. My personal congratulations go out to Dean, as this feat, on top of years of pushing the limits of possibility in rock climbing and BASE jumping, have earned him the first ever Best of Adventure Readers’ Choice Award.
On a sad note, it has recently been announced that this will be the final issue of National Geographic Adventure. I feel very fortunate to have contributed to such a great publication over the years. Best wishes to the wonderful staff. I hope our paths cross again soon.

Budweiser American Ale - Print Ad
My good friend and kayaking legend, Eric Jackson now has yet another addition to an already impressive list of accomplishments - Spokesman for Budweiser American Ale. The ad shown above, running in the December issue of National Geographic Adventure, features an image I shot late last winter while in Tennessee with Eric and Clay Wright. Anheuser-Busch could not have picked a better person to fill this role. When I first met Eric, right away I thought, here's a man who has both a successful, busy life and a happy family. How does he do it? He's even busier than I am and pulled in more directions because he has a family. He has really confirmed that you can find balance. For Eric, it's all in synch somehow. I hope someday I get it figured out as well as he has, because, honestly, that's as good as it gets.
I'm very excited to be heading back to Rock Island, TN later this week to shoot another project with Eric and company. Always great to spend time on the Jackson Ranch!
