For the April 2009 issue of Boy's Life, I was asked to provide a set of photography tips and images to the Scouts to help them in capturing pictures of their own adventures. I really enjoy writing and speaking on photography and the steps it took to get me where I am today. This was very cool to be able to share all of this with the kids.
In working with Boy Scouts of America on many occasions over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with some great groups of kids in some wonderful locations. No matter if we’re climbing Mt. Rainier, canoeing the rivers of Montana or hiking the Appalachian Trail, I am always inspired by the enthusiasm they bring to the outdoors.
